Cada Dia Leather Folios are made with full grain cowhide leather, a material known for its durability and ability to age beautifully over time.
Natural Leather Characteristics
Each Cada Dia folio is crafted from full-grain leather, the highest quality layer of the hide, left as natural as possible. Because of this, no two pieces are exactly alike.
You may notice:
- Natural markings such as veins, scars, or subtle scratches
- Variations in grain, texture, and color
- Areas that appear smoother or more textured than others
These are not defects, but natural characteristics of the leather - a reflection of the life of the hide. Over time, these markings will soften and blend as your folio develops its own patina, becoming uniquely yours.
What is Vegetable-Tanned Leather?
Our core lines are made of Vegetable-Tanned Leather. This type of leather is treated using natural tannins from plants, rather than harsh chemicals. This is why the leather feels firm at first, but softens with use.
Vegetable-tanned leather has the unique quality of developing a rich patina over time, which can vary depending on how you use, handle, and move with. your leather folio.
It also retains the natural characteristics of the hide, such as veins, marks, and subtle variations in color or texture. These details are not defects, but expected features of the material.
Production Timeline
Each folio is made-to-order and hand-assembled with care, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Once your order is placed and confirmed, production begins right away and leather folios are carefully handcrafted over 2 to 3 weeks. You will be notified once your order has been shipped out.
Do you keep ready-made stock?
Most leather folios are crafted per order, however, we sometimes have a few pieces onhand - feel free to message us if you’re hoping for faster delivery!
Return and Refund Policy
Because our leather folios are made-to-order and thoughtfully hand-assembled using genuine leather, slight marks, variations in grain, or subtle color differences are natural characteristics may appear. These are not defects, but features that make each piece uniquely yours.
All sales are final. However, we will accept returns or issue refunds under the following conditions:
- You received the wrong item, or
- Your order arrives with clear damage or a manufacturing defect beyond the natural characteristics of leather.
